The Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters LP
Following a critically lauded run of dates opening for The Cure on their North American Tour, The Twilight Sad bring their debut LP to vinyl for the first time in the US. Produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, Spoon, Walkmen), the album pushed their recordings towards an epic scope with sonically detailed, emotive, and eloquent songs. The record has had a lasting impact and many of the songs here are longtime fan favorites. Its now back in print for those who missed the LP edition in its original import only run. The record received rave reviews on release and made several year-end lists, including Pitchfork's best of 2007. The site gave the album a Best New Music standing. The record was given fitting tribute with the band playing it front to back in Glasgow in 2013 and a Record Store Day reissue popping up in the UK. For US fans, though, this is an opportunity to rightfully complete their Twilight Sad collection with this domestic pressing on their long sought-after debut.
