Fond Object: Be Seeing You...

Nashville record store has a lot going on for you to do and a lot of records for you to dig through this weekend

We’re ready for Autumn. Buying records is a lot like the squirrel’s need to collect acorns before a big winter - you need plenty of music to fortify your spirit before the cold months come. We’re getting new releases in every week at both of our locations, but this week seems especially special.

Amongst several other great records that hit our shelves this week, here are some of our favorites:

  • The War on Drugs - A Deeper Understanding
  • Metz - Strange Peace
  • Alvvays - Antisocialites
  • Death From Above - Outrage is Now
  • Chris Bell - I am the Cosmos (reissue)

Most importantly, perhaps, if you’re a fan of the legendary Link Wray, you’ll be happy to know that we have all of recent Light in the Attic reissues in stock!

More and more amazing used LP’s are going out everyday at both stores

We recently got very lucky and experienced the buy of a century a month ago, and we’ve been stacking our used music section with new titles every day. There’s over 2000 records, all in perfect condition, of pressings from the 70’s and 80’s of everything you’ve ever wanted to own.

Currently, we have records by The Beatles, Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Fairport Convention, Kevin Ayers, Brian Eno, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Robert Johnson and more! Absolutely incredible stuff, you have to come in and check it out.

More than records?

Due to popular demand, Earthwhile Collective will be staying another month in our East Nashville Gallery Room. Come and check out their amazing jewelry, planters, frames, dream catchers, bolos, and more!

Want something fun and free to do this weekend?

Fond Object 4th Ave Gallery:

Lorena Lopez and her daughter have an incredible exhibit showing now at our East Nashville location entitled: Lo & Love. The exhibit will continue for another month, so if you can’t make it this weekend, feel free to come out and explore their exceptional work!

We regularly have artists featured in our gallery, and it’s an honor for us to host unique artists for our community to appreciate. Be on the lookout as we announce featured artists in the future!

Double Feature this Sunday! Eastside Location

Bring a lawnchair and blankets this Sunday evening as we enjoy the creepy, quirky vibes of director David Cronenberg in two of his most well regarded films: The Dead Zone and The Fly. Movies begin at 7:15 p.m. and 9:00 respectively. Let Halloween Movie Month begin!

We want to see you on 4th Ave!

Just want you to remind you that our downtown location is open every day, so do come see us! The store is beautiful, spacious, and there’s so much there to explore and enjoy. There’s plenty of parking, so don’t be scared you won’t find a spot!

Be seeing you...
